How to upload a video to your Blog

1. Download Real Player

2.Go onto YOutube & find which video you would like to download. Click righthand corner which will say 'download to realplayer'

3.Play the video on real player. Message will come up 'Convert' push yes. Then choose the type you want to convert your video to.

4.Convert it to a WMV file. Press start. Save file and then upload to your blog.

How to '"Unfollow" the Yr9 English Blog

Ok, if they are following your  YR 9 blog it should show up in their ‘reading list’ on their dashboard page when they log in.

To unfollow a blog they need to click on the cog icon, which is on the right of their dashboard page next to where it says ‘reading list’ – next to this icon is says ‘view in google reader’.  Once they have clicked on the cog icon it will take them to a page that lists all the blogs they follow.  If they click on ‘settings’ which will be on the right across from your blog title, a dialogue box will pop up and they can choose to unfollow it in here.  I can’t get it to show up at school, so it might be blocked.  It will work for them at home

How to follow this blog

You need to follow this blog.
This means that you only need to log in to blogger and from your dashboard you can access here and your own blog. Some of you have already done this :)


To follow a blog...
Go to your 'dashboard' - the page it takes you to when you log in to blogger.
Down near the bottom of the page it will show you the blogs you follow, or your reading list. There will be an 'add' button. Click this and type in acemisstupaea.blogspot.co.nz in the box that pops up. You need to follow the blog publicly so I know you have done this.
